1. The scenery was breathtaking and so untouched that you felt engulfed by natural beauty. 2. Meeting the ethnic minority groups, staying at their homes and learning about their culture- often unaffected by modern technologies and influence- was a unique life experience. To witness an alternate reality like this was humbling and inspiring. 3. The food is great. 4. My tour guide Jack was a skilful driver, made me feel safe, taught me SO much about the local people and culture, made me LAUGH, danced with me and honestly felt like a best friend. I had the best tome with him and feel so blessed to have had him take me around the Ha giang loop. 5. The booking process was easy and Truong got back to me super quickly (even when I was in Australia), answered all my questions and even checked in with me during the trip to make sure I was having a good time. This was my fave thing that I have done in my 3 week trip to Vietnam! A must do!

Everything went smoothly as planned. Ha Noi - Ha Giang - Ha Noi legs were on a comfortable limousine bus. 2 days around Ha Giang were on a back of a motorbike. My driver was skillful and I felt safe behind him. The roads were s bit bumpy on some places. Accommodation was as listed. The 1st night in small hotel and the 2nd night at homestay. Interesting experiences both. Meals were in time, we stopped often for good photo spots and altogether everything went as planned. Sceneries were the best part of this loop. Sky was quite clear, no fog, so the visibility was very good.
